Um… “Sally”? 1. Sally is not a rooster, but a hen. 2. Even if we didn’t know Sally’s gender from the picture, we could infer from the strongly gender-specific name that she were female.

I know it seems odd, but her mother was a rooster too, and her owner is a boy named Sue.
